Malindo Air will operates from KLIA2

The new Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) Terminal, KLIA2 is set to host 10 frills-free airlines including Malindo Air once it opens in June 2013.  With a capacity to serve 45 million passengers per year,KLIA2is ready to welcome more airlines to KLIA2. KLIA2 is designed to accommodate all types of airlines but it is best suited for airlines with a low-cost business model.

The new airport, located just two kilometres from the main KLIA, will be the largest LCC terminal in the region, with a total area of 242,000 sq metres.

KLIA2 will also feature a multi-model transportation hub for buses, taxis, and the Express Rail Link to provide connectivity, in addition to the semi-automated baggage handling system, support zones, cargo and in-flight complexes and a 6,000-vehicle parking complex.

10 Airlines in KLIA2 is just a beginning, with a capacity of 45 million passengers a year, we believe KLIA2 will be able to attract more low-cost-carrier airlines worldwide.
